May 11, 1971 — May 23, 2022

Jermaine Eugene Leatherbury was born on May 11, 1971 in Wilmington, Delaware to
Cleveland J. Boyce, Jr. and the late Zelda R. Leatherbury. He departed this life on
Monday, May 23, 2022 at Tidal Health Nanticoke Hospital in Seaford, Delaware.

Jermaine received his early education attending schools throughout the Christina
School District from Drew-Pyle Elementary, Gauger Middle School, and then attending
Glasgow High School. In his early years, he played various sports, but ultimately fell in
love with football. He played the position of quarterback for Mount Pleasant, Eastside
Connection, and Glasgow High Schools.

Jermaine was mostly quiet and observant, but you could often find him cracking jokes
when he wanted to entertain those he was in the company of. He loved to fish and listen
to music. He also loved attending his children's sporting events where you would often
find him cheering on the team. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and would often
be found lounging in front of the TV supporting his team on any given Sunday, Monday,
or Thursday night that his team was scheduled to play.

Jermaine was preceded in death by his mother, Zelda R. Leatherbury, maternal
grandmother, Anna E. Leatherbury, maternal grandfather, Ludy L. Leatherbury, and
paternal grandfather, Cleveland J. Boyce, Sr.
