Javier "Chico" Ayala

Javier "Chico" Ayala, age 48, of Wilmington, DE went home to the Lord on Sunday, June 26, 2022. Chico
was born in Wilmington, DE to Amelia Ayala and the late George Ayala, Sr. A true die-hard Dallas
Cowboys fan, Chico was a loving, kind-hearted, and charismatic individual. With his infectious smile.

Chico was known to be a jokester and was well admired by all that knew him.

Chico is survived by his mother, Amelia Ayala of Wilmington, DE, his siblings: George Ayala, Jr. (Megan)
of Bear, DE, Eric Ayala of Wilmington, DE, and Melissa Ayala of Wilmington, DE. He leaves behind to
cherish his memory, his children whom he adored: Javier "Javi" Ayala, of Newark, DE, Jaimelis "Jami"
Ayala, twins, Jordan and Jy'Air Ayala, from Claymont, DE and a grandson, Avery Almodovar, of Newark,
DE. Chico was proud uncle to: Eric Jr, Erik, Vaughn, Emeliana, Anjali, and Hannah. Chico has a host of
aunts, uncles, cousins as well as extended family in Florida & Puerto Rico, and countless friends, all who will miss him dearly.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Chico's life and legacy on Wednesday, July 6,
2022 at 10AM at the House of Wright Mortuary, 208 E. 35 th St. Wilmington, DE 19802. Burial will be held at the Silverbrook Cemetery, 3300 Lancaster Pike, Wilmington, DE 19805, following his memorial
services.
