Janet Gail Cannon - Ellison Was born on June 24, 1950 in Wilmington, Delaware to Mary Frances Cannon and the late Ira Roach. She departed this life on July 10, 2020 at Christiana Hospital, in Wilmington, Delaware.
Janet received her education in the Wilmington Public schools. She was very good in English and spelling. Janet was very outgoing, and her hobbies were listening to music like oldies but goodies and gospel. She also liked watching movies and game shows. Her favorite shows were The Price is Right and Family Feud.
In 1994 Janet married Randy Lee Ellison, who preceded her in death. Janet was a member of Scott AME Zion Church and attended until her health failed. She also attended Saint Patrick's Senior Center. Janet was preceded in death by her father Ira Roach, foster mother Margaret Elliot, and brother Eric Cannon.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother Mary Frances Cannon, one son Kevin M Cannon, five grandchildren Kevin Townsend, Kenny and Christiana Condiff, Kc and Kalia Cannon, five sisters Paula Cannon, Patrice Young (Cookie), Charlene Keys (Karen), Marsha West, Diane Black, brother Eugene West, and 2 devoted cousins Pandora Cannon and Harold Cannon, Jr.
