James is survived by 3 daughters, Melanie Brown, Brenda Reed Skinner Ryle, and Dawanda Miller; 2 son-in-laws, Johnny Brown and Raymond(Abu) Ryle; 5 grandchildren, Merl Loftland, Dwayne Brown, Tiffany, Jimille and Percy Skinner; 1 devoted cousin, Lucille Pennington; 1 devoted uncle, Edward Moore; and other family members adn friends.
