James Anthony Antonio Boyer

James Anthony Antonio “Tony” Boyer, son of James A. Boyer and the late Gwendolyn E. (Walley) Boyer Jeffers, was born August 6, 1962, in Wilmington, Delaware.  He departed this life on February 24, 2023 at Christiana Care Health System, Newark, Delaware.

Tony received his early education in the public schools of Wilmington, Delaware.

Tony loved to go fishing on Sundays with his brothers, Michael, Troy, Darryl “Nate” (deceased) and his great-nephew Ty’Lier. He also loved playing basketball, shooting pool and socializing with his 4th Street LOVE Park friends.

Tony was preceded in death by his son Darryl (D’Raj) Rogers; mother Gwendolyn E. (Walley) Boyer Jeffers; brother Darryl M. Boyer; sister Stacey L. Boyer Harris; grandparents Chandler and Marcella Sturgis Boyer and Charles R. and Cornelia May (Green) Walley.

Tony leaves to cherish his memories son Anthony Rogers; father James A. Boyer (Audrey); brothers Michael and Troy Boyer; nine grandchildren, devoted niece Sharee’ Angeline Gordon; one aunt Joyce Cooper, and a host of relatives and friends.
