Ida Mae Briscoe of Townsend, DE died peacefully at Christiana Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Ida was born in Smyrna, DE to the late William H. and Florence E. Bleen. She was a very loving mother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and going to church. She received her education at Thomas D. Clayton and Booker T. Washington. She was a Dietary Aide at D.H.C.I. for 14 years before retirement. Ida is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Dallas and a daughter Renee, 3 brothers and 1 sister. She leaves to cherish her memory, 3 daughters, Carolyn Stevenson (Raynard), Karen Briscoe of Middletown, Stephanie Henry (Leroy) of Townsend; 1 son, Dallas Briscoe of Middletown; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 sister Josephine Dawson of Magnolia, 1 brother Wesley Bleen (Marion) of Townsend, 1 sister-in-law, 1 brother-in-law, a very dear cousin, Betty Reed and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
