Gregory Reginald Laster, Sr. (Moo) departed this life on Monday, March 12, 2007 at his residence. Gregory was born on November 22, 1948 in Oak Hill, West Virginia to the late Ernest W. Laster and Ernestine Kessler Laster. He was a graduate of Oak Hill High School in West Virginia. Gregory was affiliated with Greentown First Baptist Church in Greentown, West Virginia. Moo as he was affectionately called moved to Wilmington, Delaware in 1970. He was employed by Berger Office Furniture as a truck driver for many years. His hobby was watching old western movies and sitting on the porch talking with his friends. Gregory was united in marriage on September 18, 1969 to his devoted wife, Sharon Dianne Laster and from this union two children were born, Gregory Reginald, Jr. and Trista Laster. Gregory was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Gregory Reginald Laster, III; brother, Ernest Michael Laster. Moo leaves to cherish is memory; his wife, Sharon Dianne Laster; son, Gregory Reginald, Jr. (Tonya) of New Castle, Delaware; daughter, Trista Laster of Wilmington, Delaware; one brother, William Laster (Vickie) of Beckley, West Virginia; four sisters, Patricia Penn of Columbus, Ohio, Teresa (Kitten) Grasty and Sylvia Tucker of Wilmington, Delaware, Juan Ren(TM)ae Laster of Washington, D.C.; three sisters-in-law, Janice Parks of Fort Worth, Texas, Brenda Brown (Joseph) of New Castle, Delaware, Elaine Smith of Rochester, New York; five brothers-in-law, John Tucker of Wilmington, Delaware, Elder Mark Parks of New Castle, Delaware, Kenneth Smith (Rozena) of Windsor Mill, Maryland, and Sgt. Major Earl Smith of Laurel, Maryland; four grandchildren, Davine Laster of Deltona, Florida, Gionna, Nyeesha (Ny) and Sharlayia (Shay) of New Castle, Delaware; one great granddaughter, Damani; one uncle, three aunts and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and close friends.
