Gloria J. (Sug) Diggs, daughter of Anna M. Madric and the late Edward W. Lloyd was born May 12, 1943 in Wilmington, Delaware. She peacefully departed this life on December 6, 2005 at home. Sug as she was affectionately called by family and friends was educated in the Wilmington public school system and attended Howard High School. She was employed in the school system and retired after thirty-three years of service from the Colonial School District as a paraprofessional. Sug accepted the LORD as her personal savior and was baptized under the pastoral care of Reverend Boston Ford, where she joined the membership of that church. Sug was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family deeply. She enjoyed listening to music and cooking and spending time with her family. Sug was preceded in death by her father; sister, Martha M. (Peaches) Diggs; one great grandson, Christian M. A. Diggs; her stepfather, McKinely Madric and her companion of thirty-one years, Jerry L. Grier. She leaves to cherish many joyous memories; her mother, Anna M. Madric; one daughter, Cheryl L. Diggs; three sons, Cecil S. L, Brian J. and Keith D. Diggs; six grandchildren, Michael T. (Sharon), Krystal L. Diggs, Sharon and Troy Braxton, Kerrea Mukins, and Nugi Nichols; six great grandchildren, Marquise T., Savyon M., Aviri I. Diggs, Derrick Braxton, Jazmyn Smith and Kadeasha Johnson; two stepbrothers, Arthur Madric and Paul Al-min; one stepsister, Zakuja Minkah; two aunts, Rosalie Diggs, Emma Strelt; three nieces, Nettora Henson, Harolyn and Ericka Diggs; two nephews, Darron and Erick Diggs; one great nephew, Quadre
