Gladys Morgan of Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill, formerly of Monrovia, California went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 23, 2005. She was born in Delaware City, Delaware on June 15, 1921. She attended Howard High School in Wilmington, Delaware. Gladys was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Clara R. Howard; stepfather, Mr. Shirley Howard; sister, Dorothy Camphor; sister-in-law, Vera P. Russ and her husband, Bishop Richard Morgan. After her marriage to Richard, the couple moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where they became entrepreneurs. They opened a second hand thrift shop and a small restaurant. While living in Philadelphia they accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. They diligently worked in the church and its mission. After approximately five years, Gladys and Rich were called to the ministry. As they prayerfully sought God
