Gladys Beulah Pritchett

On early Sunday morning God with His loving mercy called Mother Gladys Beulah Pritchett, age 92, home. Miss Gladys was a resident of Brandywine Convalescent Home and a longtime resident of the Wilmington and New Castle area. She was born in Churchhill, Maryland educated there and married to Josiah Ezekiel Pritchett who preceded her in death in 2004 also at the age of 92. Their early years were spent in Maryland before relocating to New Castle and later Wilmington, where they settled in and raised seven children. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory, sons, Edward (Sonny) Josiah Pritchett and Harold Bernard Pritchett, both of Wilmington, DE; daughters Geraldine Cvengros, of Encino, California, Barbara Ann Scott, who proceeded her in death, Janice Elaine Thomas and Gladys Arnita Pritchett, Wilmington, DE and Sheila Una Pritchett Bush of Durham, NC; sons in-laws Gregory Scott of Wilmington, DE and Robert Cvengros of Encino, California; daughter in-law Dicey Pritchett of Wilmington; devoted companion of Sonny, Shirley Bivens , seventeen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and extended church family including Pastor Will & Mother Henderson, Bro.
