Geraldine P. Miller

Age 73 of Wilmington, DE died Wednesday, October 15, 2003 at home. She was the daughter of the late Hicks and Maggie Stanford Hargis. She was born January 21, 1930 in Fruitland, MD. She grew up in Fruitland and was education in the public schools of Wilcomico County. Later she moved to Wilmington, DE., where she attended Delaware State College. After graduation, she taught for Wilmington Public Schools and the Brandywine School District where she retaired in 1991. Geraldine joined Mt. Joy United Methodist Church where she was a faithful usher and served as Sunday School Superintendent. She is survived by 2 sons, Edmond Shepherd and Donald Miller, both of Wilmington, DE; 1 sister, Eleanor Gordon of washington, DC; 2 brothers, Raymod Hargis of Pleasantville, NJ and Thomas J.
