On October 13, 2010, Gerald (Jay) F. Fay, Jr. after a long illness went home to be with our lord. Jay was preceded in death by his mother Mary Cunningham. Jay leaves behind a loving wife Kendra Hymer Fay and his children Gerald (Jerry), Jeffrey, Jason, Joseph and his wife, Jennifer Fay, Ashlea, Danielle, Newton. He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 2 Great-grand children. He will be greatly missed by his friend and confidant Bobby & Mary Myers. He will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Debra VanDan and a host of others who loved him. A special thank you to Season's Hospice for their love and care of Jay. Jay loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Jay had a great love of "muscle cars" and often raced at Cecil County Drag-way. Jay was a Navy Veteran and served 3 tours in Vietnam, he was a Black Beret, and was honorably discharged E4. Jay was retired from Chrysler Corporation where he worked diligently for 25 years.
