George Moore

George E. Moore Jr. born on September 7, 1934 to George E. Moore Sr. and Eva Holly, departed this life on August 26, 2011. He went on to be with the Lord and is now rejoicing as well as singing with the Lord Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters. George E. Moore and Evelyn Marsh of Hopewell, VA were united in holy matrimony on November 20, 1955. The marriage of George and Evelyn was blessed with five beautiful children: Wendell E. Moore of Bear, DE; Sheryl D. Moore of New Castle, DE; Bryant C. Moore of Wilmington, DE; Michael L. Watson of Wilmington, DE and Samuel D. Moore of New Castle, DE He is also survived by four daughter-in-laws, three of which he was extremely close to and considered his daughters: Carol R. Moore of Wilmington, DE; Jackie Moore of Bear, DE as well as Liz Watson of New Jersy. George is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren, in addition to a host of nieces and nephews. He had two close friends who were like brothers to him: George Lloyd, godfather to Wendell, who is now deceased and Waddell Harmon.
