Florence Hamlet Rose, daughter of Charlie Hamlet and Lottie Parrish and William Parrish, Sr., who raised her was born on November 20, 1922 in Lynchburg, VA. Florence went home to be with the Lord peacefully on August 21, 2006. She attended the Public Schools of Lynchburg, VA. She was employed as a domestic worker for many years in Delaware. She leaves to cherish her memory; 4 grandchildren, Patricia Madric, Robin McManus, James Gale and Steven Gale; 1 grandson-in-law, Kevin McManus; 4 sisters, Margret Hardman, Hattie Thorpe, Clarene Lewis all of Lynchburg, VA and Annie Harvey of Boston, MA.; 3 brothers Thomas, Leon and Jessye Parrish all of Lynchburg, VA and a host of great grandchildren nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
