daughter of the late James H. and Lena M. Smith, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the Christiana Hospital. Her brother Ralph, sister Joan, brother John and loving family members were by her side. Evelyn was born and raised in (Belvedere) Wilminton, DE, she received her early education was at Absalom Jones School, graduating in 1949 from Howard High School, and attended Goldey Beacom College. She served over 20 years as a member of the Belvedere Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She leaves to cherish, her many memories and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
