Esther Lucille Groves

Esther Lucille Groves, daughter of the late Addie Brown and Howard Brown of Bridgeville, DE. Esther departed this life May 25, 2008 at Milford Memorial Hospital in Milford, DE for her eternal home in Heaven. She was 74 years old. She started her education at Phyllis Wheatly School in Bridgeville, DE and later finished at H. M. Groves. She was married to the late Walter J. Groves who left this world in 1979. Esther loved her family, friends and loved fishing. She leaves to mourn her passing, one son, Elmer Mathis and his wife Connie Mathis of Georgetown, DE; two daughters, Rosa Bailey and her husband Charles Bailey of Bridgeville, DE. and Taylor Groves of Lincoln, DE; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A very close niece Katie Taylor and a very close friend, Georgeanna Jenkins who was there for her no matter what, in good health and in sickness.
