Born October 24,1946 in Chestertown, Maryland. He was the son of late Viola Wilson and late Howard Wickes.
Ernest "Tick" received his education at Henry Highland Garnett in Chestertown, Maryland. After, school Ernest was in the United States Army serving in Vietnam from 1969-1970. After, serving his country he was later employed at E. Earl Downig for amazing 40 years. He enjoyed singing, fishing, hunting, baseball, basketball, his favorite teams were the Baltimore Orioles, Indianapolis Colts and Lakers.
Ernest "Tick" was preceded in death by his parents Viola Wilson and Howard Wickes.
Ernest " Tick" is survived by his long time love Sheila Warren, his children Clarissa, Ernest, Melissa, and Jeffrey 16 grandchildren Tomisha, Tommy, Laniesha, Cameron, Aaron, Aareon, Majhai, Mya, Carter, Keyonna, Brianna, Lil Jeff, Messiah, Kadar, Brian, and Elegant, ten great grands Xylen, Alaiya, Asai, Kamoni, Erin, Lyric, Alijah, Artist, Reign, Kahlani and a host of relatives and friends
