Elizabeth Jordan Drewry

Mother Drewry departed this life on September 17, 2017 at Manor Care Nursing Home. She was born in Philadelphia, Pa on April 28, 1928. She was the second eldest of her twelve siblings, to the union of Herbert and Maggie Elliott-Jordan. Timothy 4:7 typifies her life, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race. I have kept the faith." She was known for her steadfastness, her life of service and her unwavering faith, upon her dedication to the Lord in 1972. Mother Drewry biological family, church family and extended family were all benefactors of her true love and care. Her dedication was greatly shown toward helping others as she showed through the True Vine Resale Shop at 3904 N. Market Street for many years. This was a branch from the vine of her fruit to the church; True Vine Holiness Church of the Apostolic Faith is where she faithfully attended. Mother Drewry was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one sister, five brothers, and son. She leaves to cherish her memory by her children, James Jordan (Janice), Carol Jordan, Janis Robinson, Deborah McCoy (Michael), Marvin Graham (Linda) and Cheryl Jordan; sisters Vivian Childs and Frederika Jordan; brothers Herbert Jordan (Suyapa), Raymond Jordan and James Jordan(Jacqueline); and sister-in-law Evelyn Reid.
