Edward Slaughter, age 69 of Fairfax County, VA, went home to be with the Lord. He was born April 3, 1943 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Curtis Slaughter, Sr. and Mary Sue Slaughter. He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Slaughter Sr., mother Mary Sue Slaughter and brothers Curtis Jr. and Walter James Slaughter. Edward leaves to cherish his memories, sons Aaron, Mark, Jeffrey Slaughter and daughter Rachel Slaughter, five grandchildren who were the love of his life; his sister Mary Ruth (Howard) Sudler of North East, MD, brothers Larry (Ayisha) Slaughter of Bowie, MD, Bishop Anthony Slaughter of Wilmington, DE; a devoted niece Carmen Slaughter along with a host of nieces, nephews and loving family and friends.
