Edward Lee Williams

Edward Lee Williams was born on December 5, 1938, in Richmond County, NC to Alex Williams and Hattie Belle Hasty. Edward passed on December 26, 2020 in Wilmington, Delaware. Edward received his education in the Hampton, VA. public school system. Edward moved to Philadelphia, PA at the age of 18. Later he met Ella Mae, and they were married in March of 1961 and over time they became parents of David, Sandra, and Barry. He gained employment at the Matthias Paper Corp, ultimately retiring after over 20yrs of service. Eddie knew the Lord, was baptized, and in his later years received the Lord as his savior. He had many hobbies and interests. He enjoyed fixing and repairing things, along with doing odd jobs around the house. But most of all he was dedicated to his family, especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Father Alex Williams, Mother Hattie Williams, and his Son David Williams, Brothers Andrew Williams, Calvin Williams. Eddie is survived by his Wife Ella Williams, Daughter Sandra Walton (husband Anthony), Son Barry Williams, Sister Shirley and (husband Gus Hughes), Sister Jean Ritchie, Sister Elizabeth & (husband Jerry Salters), Brother David Williams & (wife Ciesta), Brother Ronald Miller Also survived by his Grandchildren: Von Eric Morgan, David & Christopher Walton, And a host of relatives and friends.
