Dontay Julius Harris

Dontay Julius Harris was born on March 15, 1987 in Wilmington, DE to Dionne Harris. He passed on October 15, 2024 in Wilmington, DE.  

Dontay received his education in the Christiana School District, consistently making the honor roll until he graduated from Newark High School on June 8, 2005. During his school years, he participated in the track and football teams, earning medals and trophies. He was awarded scholarships and was even crowned homecoming king. After, graduating, he attended Cheyney University, where he focused on the Office of Admissions. 

He had a variety of hobbies and interests, swimming, singing, performing backflips, and demonstrating his strength. He also enjoyed playing musical instruments such as the drums, piano, and flute. Known for his friendly and sociable nature, he loved to joke, laugh, and spend time with others. 

Dontay is survived by his mother Dionne Harris, his fiancée Monadae' Fairley, his children D'Khiy Harris, Unique Harris, Ta'Shay Todd, Da'Moni Fairley-Harris and his stepson Samir Fairley his siblings Darnell Harris, Stacia Harris, Lee-Moor Harris, Secret Harris,  Tomiere Harris and Diammon Harris. A host of relatives, friends, and Lil Bro Scoot Luv.
