Deaconess Ethel Tiller

Ethel was born on 3/24/1949 in Wilmington, Delaware to Barbara Thomas and Freddy Lolley. She passed on Tuesday 6/21/2022 at her home in Wilmington, DE.

Ethel received her early education from Booker T. Washington Elementary School. She graduated from Howard High School. After school, she worked at WSFS Bank where she retired after 42 years.

Ethel was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church and the Rosehill Community Center.

She loved spending time with family, traveling, playing Pokeno, cooking, reading her Bible, gospel music, going to church, and participating in church activities, and she loved desserts! She was a loving mother and grandmother and was loved and respected by everyone who encountered her.

Ethel was preceded in death by her mother Barbara Thomas, her father Freddy Lolley, husband Elzie Wilmore, sisters Yvonne Hammond and Deborah Tiller, and a host of loving relatives and friends. Ethel is survived by her son Elgin Tiller, grandson Stacey Tiller and brother Charles Tiller. Previous Events
