She served proudly as a Parent Coordinator upon the initiation of the Follow Through Program within the Wilmington School System. In addition, she was a member of the Pastors Aide Committee, the Nurses Guild, Victory and Senior Choirs, and performed Missionary Duties, providing care for those in need whether at home or in a healthcare facility. She sat before the Mt. Sinai Holy Church of America Inc., Board of Presbyters, and successfully passed the examination process which led to her becoming an Ordained Deacon. Having a desire to enhance her knowledge of God's Word, Deacon Taylor enrolled in the Jameson Bible College, and earned a diploma at completion.
