David Grier

David Grier "Bob Love" of Wilmington, DE passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at home at the age of 53. He was born on October 9, 1955 in Sandersville, GA to the late Bobby Grier, Sr. and Rosie Lee Grier. He graduated from P.S. DuPont High School and immediately joined the Air Force serving in Vietnam and discharged as a Sergeant. David worked as a medical records clerk at the VA Hospital, where he was recently acknowledged for 20 years of dedicated service to the US Government. He enjoyed playing Wii with his grandkinds, cards, watching sports and Sanford & Son. David was preceded in death by his brother, Willie Grier. He is survived by his companion of 26 years, Dona M. Webb; 2 children, David A. Webb and Donna N. Webb; 2 grandchildren, Destiny A.M. Webb and Daeshaun A. Webb all of Wilmington; 2 brothers, Bobby Grier, Jr. (Theressa), Stephen Grier; 2 sisters, Linda Bond (David) and Joanne Grier; 2 uncles, James Smith and Robert Smith; 1 aunt, Estella Lewis and ahost of nieces, nephews and friends.
