Darrin Anthony Foster, lovingly enter this World on January 1, 1971, to Faith Thompson
and David Flammer-deceased, in Wilmington, DE. He departed this life on May 8, 2024.
Born into the tribe of Edith V. Williams, on the Northside of Wilmington, Darrin
was cultivated in a home full of family. He was raised with aunts who were more like
mothers, and shared a room with cousins who were thought of as brothers. Roaming
the streets of Wilmington and playing in Brandywine Park, his childhood was filled with
love, laughter, and adventure. Darrin received his education in the Wilmington Public
School system. Attending the infamous Wilmington High school before embarking on
new ventures at Keystone Job Corp, where he pursued the field of Carpentry. After
successful completion of Keystone, Darrin had a host of professions over the years. He
was most proud of his endeavors with Christiana Care as a Patient Escort where he
enjoyed helping people at their most vulnerable times.
Infectiously known for his smile and quiet demeanor. Darrin was famous for his
appreciation of Anime, classic cars, and cooking-claiming to be a world class BBQ
Master. He was a modest soul, enjoying life and being home with family creating
memories.
Darrin was proceeded in death by his remarkable son Sergeant Kahlil A. Foster,
Grandmother Edith V. Williams and Father David Flamer.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory; Mother Faith Thompson, wife- Lori Foster,
Life Partner- Tanisha Washington, children-Dashaunna Toston, Demaris Foster, Elijah
Foster, Elisha Foster, and Rasheem Washington-Foster, six grandchildren, a host of
siblings, a multitude cousins, extended family and friends.
