Clarence “Tuck” Barnes was born on December 17, 1950 in Damascus, Georgia to the late Thomas Barnes and Carrie Harris Barnes. He passed away on April 12, 2023 in Wilmington, Delaware.
Tuck received his education in the Wilmington school system. He graduated from Howard High School. Tuck was employed at Fiber Corporation of America and was a faithful member of their staff for over 40 years.
In his leisure time, Tuck enjoyed listening to Old School music from the 70’s and watching classic movies, Westerns, and sports. Tuck’s favorite pastimes were spending time with his devoted sister Annie Barnes, taking pleasure in having quiet time and being an obedient citizen.
Tuck was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Carrie Barnes, brother Willie Harris, and aunt Ruth Graham.
Tuck is survived by his four children Shalynn, Darrell, Terron and Latricia Brown; loving sister Annie D. Barnes, brother Thomas Barnes, Jr. (Bev), and sister Sandra Lee Barnes; grandchildren Anthony Witcher, Zyqair Collier, Nalaina Collier, Jah’mir Brown, Mekhi Ervin, Ma’Layha Brown, and Dallas Brown; special cousin Tyrone Bailey; special nephew Makiya Barnes, Jr. and a host of relatives and friends.
