Charles C. James, Jr., of Wilmington, DE was called to God's heavenly kingdom on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at the Christiana Hospital surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Charles S. James, Sr. and Thelma Bowman James. He was preceded in death by his brother, Albert Porter. He was the devoted husband of Rev. Rose Johnson-James; father of Celeste Macklin (the daughter of Rev. Dr. Jay Macklin) and grandfather of Ja Meair & Cynthia Macklin-Scott. He is survived by brothers, Arnold, Donald & Wade James, and sister, Corliss James. He is also survived by two aunts, Charity Ward and Hattie Galloway; 2 Godchildren; 4 brothers-in-law; 7 sisters-in-law; many special friends, other relatives and his Rock of Ages family.
