Charles A. "Jake" Jacobs

December 17, 1923 — October 28, 2003

Age 79 of Wilmington, DE passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2003 at the Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. He was the son of the late Grace Kennedy and William Jacobs. He attended Howard High School. He took a special interest in Karate, where he excelled and became a martial arts instructor. He belonged to America Legion post #12, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Odd fellows. Charles A. Jacbos leaves to cherish his memory 2 daughters, Stacie Lovett of New Castle, DE. and Brenda Hunter of Bristol, PA; 1 son, Charles Jacobs, Jr. of Princeton, NJ; 1 sister, Lucretia Weddington of Wilmington, DE; 2 brothers, William Kennedy of Baltimore, MD and Charles Casper Kennedy of Princeton, NJ; and 1 sister-in-law, Mary Kennedy of Wilmington, DE. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren including a devoted grandson, Derrick Guy; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other family and friends.
