Carolyn J. Gordon, 74 of Wilmington, DE died on Saturday, December 25, 2021, at her home.
Born in Wilmington Delaware, she was the daughter of Daniel Gordon Sr and Willie Mae Gordon.
Carolyn graduated from Wilmington Public School. She owned Carolyn's Kitchen Food Truck at the Longshoreman Hall in Wilmington, DE for many years and she worked for Delaware Industries for the blind.
She was a true woman of God and a faithful member of Solid Rock Baptist Church in New Castle, DE. She loved to sing church songs and praise God.
Carolyn was a loving, kind person with a heart of gold. She always thought of others before herself.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her Dad; Daniel Gordon Sr; Mother; Willie Mae Gordon; two brothers: Daniel Gordon Jr. and John Gordon, all from Wilmington, DE.
She is survived by Ulysses Wilson, 40 plus years together; one son; Anthony Gordon; one sister; Patricia Budd Stewart; two daughters; Carmen Martinez and Stephanie Martinez; grandchildren; Destinee Bowe, Malana Gordon, Brittany Martinez, Amanda Norton, Easson Gordon, Jaquan Gordon, Markeith Gordon, and Shakee Gordon; great-grandchildren and a host of Nieces, Nephews, cousins, and friends.
