Brian Edward Benson

Brian Edward Benson also know as "B-Nat, "B" and BENSON to his many many friends went to his heavenly home on Sunday, July 3, 2005. Brian, son of the late Alan R. Dorsey and Blair Y. Benson. Brian grew up on the Eastside of Wilmington " Downtown". After graduating from high school he joined the military and served his country well as an Army Combat Veteran on the front lines of the Gulf War. Brian returned home, met and fell in love with Ms. Dena Saunders, who he planned to marry August 13, 2005. Brian was known by many and touched everyone he knew with his smile, wit and compassion, especially the kids. In addition to his father he was predeceased by his brother, Shawn Guy and maternal grandparents, Robert L. and Flora Benson. Brian leaves to cherish his memory, his fiancee' Dena Saunders; sons Daqily Benson, Shawn Saunders and Brian Benson, Jr.; his mother Blair Y. Benson; his stepmother Verna Jean Dorsey, father and mother-in-law, Ernest and Donalee Saunders; brothers, Alan R.
