Betty Jean Osburn

Betty Jean Brown-Osburn, age 64 was born October 20, 1945 in Jacksonville, FL and made her transition into the arms of God on Thursday, December 10, 2009 after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Archie and Ellen Brown. Betty received her education from the Wilmington Public Schools and attended Delaware Technical Community College. She was employed at O.I.C., the Elwyn Institute and the Computer Communications Institute. She also worked at the Bank of Delaware until she became ill. Betty was preceded in death by one daughter, Micheline Osburn, one sister, Ruth Mills and one brother, Edward Brown. She leaves to cherish her memories, three children, Anthony Osburn of Pasadeena, CA, Shana Osburn and William Grayson Osburn of Wilmington, DE; 4 sisters, Relma Jackson, Dora Williams, Rosanna Simmons and Darlene Jackson all of Wilmington and 1 brother, Keith Brown of Wilmington; 5 grandchildren, Rasheda and Alexis Osburn, Myeesha Moon, Adrian Clark, Zy'kier Flowers all of Wilmington and Vernon Moon of Scranton, PA; 2 great-grandchildren; 1 sister-in-law, Mae Lue Osburn; 2 dedicated friends, Bertha Lingham and Mae Osburn; a dedicated and loving niece, Sharon Jackson; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
