Betty J. Geter daughter of the late George B. Beatrice Kasey, was born December 7, 1954 in Wilmington, DE. She departed this life on June 30, 2009 after a long terminal illness. Betty was employed with the Christiana School District at West Park Place Elementary School for the past several years and grew to love the students and faculty dearly. Betty was also employed with the family of Paula (Penny) and Ted Ashford for many years. There was many enjoyments in betty's life; among those were entertaining her family and friends, playiang bingo, embroidery and crocheting. Betty leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Jerry Geter; 1 daughter, Pier "Kim" (Roger) Geter-Boatswain; 3 brothers, James Kasey, Sr., Wilbert (Gloria) Stewart, James Kasey; 1 sister, Patricia (James) Person; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; devoted friends, Paula (Penny) and Ted Ashford, Marlene Goode and Paula Murphy and a host of other relatives and friends.
