Annette Marie Newman

Annette Marie Newman, affectionately known as Penny was born on April 20, 1949 to the late Allen Joseph Newman and Jacqueline Newman in Wilmington, Delaware. She departed this life on Monday, January 11, 2021. She graduated from P.S. DuPont High School in 1968. She worked at Ronson's Factory; then on to the Department of Correction where she worked for 30 years and retired. Penny became a member of Church of The Living Word, Inc. back in 1990 where she was an active member with F.O.M.A.H. (Foreign Outreach Ministry at Home), where she would join others witnessing in various communities in Wilmington and New Castle. She also volunteered at the Sunday Breakfast Mission on Saturdays. It gave her such joy to be able to help others and to share the love of Jesus Christ. She leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Yvonne Newman; nephews, Costigan, Jayson, Richard, and Ernie; niece Rhonda; and a host of great nieces and nephews.
