Annabelle M. Strickland

Mrs. Annabelle M. Strickland, age 59 of Wilmington, De passed away at home on Sunday, October 1, 2006. Annabelle was the daughter of Harry S. and Eva M. Maxwell of Kennett Square, PA moving to Delaware in 1968. She retired from DuPont Company after 35 years of service as an Administrative Assistant. Her greatest joy was her grandson and her only regret was leaving him so soon. She enjoyed a simple life and would like to be remembered in the manner in which she lived. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Arthur L. Strickland; her daughters Lisa Strickland of Wilmington and Tina Strickland of Newark; her only grandson, Maxwell Chalmus Strickland of Wilmington; her brothers, Fred Maxwell, his wife Sonya, and Donald Maxwell both of Kennett Square, PA; sisters, Betty Foster of Kenneth Square, PA and Jean McMillan of Oxford, PA. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
