Anna M. Townsend

Anna M. Townsend Daughter of the late Shanlie White and Onedia C. Fields Jones was born on March 3, 1937 in Cambridge, Maryland. Anna departed this life on December 22, 2006 at the age of sixty-nine. Anna graduated from Somerset High School in Princess Anne, Maryland. Anna was employed by the Pathmark Corporation for over thirty-two years as a cashier. Mrs. Townsend was a member of various groups including; Gordon Chapter #32, Mary L. Palace Cook #19, Blanch Lamson Conclave Club, Peach Blossom Council #6, Queen of Queen, Delaware Military Unit #10, Roberts and Gordon Social Club, Reindeer Echoes, Grand Auditor-Grand Chapter B.P.O.R. Inc., and the Grand Military Department-Brigidor General. Anna was predeceased in death by her father, Shanlie White; mother, Onedia C. Fields Jones and her step-father, John E. Jones, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memories; three children, Lewis, Jr, Beverly and Cheryl Townsend; one brother, John E. Jones, Jr. (Audrey L. Jones) of Salisbury, Maryland; one sister, Sarah L. Smith (John R. Smith) of Salisbury, Maryland; a devoted friend, Nathaniel Ellison and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
