Andrew Edward Jordan

Andrew Edward "Leggs" Jordan, Sr. departed this life at his residence at the age of 68 years on Sunday, July 4, 2004. Andrew was born to the late Rev. Thomas Edward Jordan and Mattie Mae Jordan-hall on February 17, 1936 in Orangeburg, SC At an early age, Andrew's parents moved to DE, which became his permanent home. Andrew attended public schools in SC and graduated from the DE public school system. He was preceded indeath by his siblings, Louise Jordan, Cleo Williams and Annie Bell Jordan; and his son, Andrew E. Jordan, Jr. Andrew leaves to cherish his memory daughters, Roxanne J. Barger and her husband Leroy G., of MD, Daisy and Pauline Jordan, both of Wilmington, DE; and son Artemus and his wife Nedra, of NewCastle, De; and stepson Bernard Henry of Wilmington. Leggs also leaves 2 grandsons, Darius Jordan-Barger of MD and Joseph M.
