Andre Keith Bolling

Andre Bolling was born on October 27, 1970, in Wilmington, Delaware to Thomas E. Bolling, Sr. and Joyce D Bolling. He attended elementary and middle schools in the Christiana School District and graduated from Christiana High School in Newark, Delaware. He worked several years at Amazon and left there for employment with the United States Postal Service. Everyone he knew called him Dre. He always had a love for sports and at an early age he played football with the Stanton Clippers and basketball with the Fletcher Brown Boys Club, Catholic CYO team and later with Christiana High School.

He had an affectionate smile that made it easy for him to make friends, he never met a stranger always willing to give advice especially to younger people about life. At family gatherings Dre’s personality was so big he would come in with a big smile on his face, dancing and livening things up. He loved his family, especially his daughter, Adrianna, shedding tears of joy at her birth loving her from the moment he laid eyes her. Dre had a special bond with his grandmother, Ella M. Simpson, who he took care of for years never once complaining about caring for her. This was one of his special qualities being there for family and others when needed.

As a child Dre attended Sunday school and church at Union Baptist in Wilmington, Delaware his family church, and as an adult he went to Faith City Family Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Bolling, Sr. several years ago.

We lost a link in our family chain when Andre suddenly departed this world on November 5, 2022. We will always keep you in our hearts, love you and remember all the family times spent together. As it is in our family tradition when we say goodbye it always ends with “I love you,” so from all of us we say these words to you.

Left to cherish Andre's memories are daughter, Adrianna Bolling, mother, Joyce Bolling, sisters, Kim Bolling and Tashana Bolling, brothers, Kevin Bolling (Renee) and Thomas Bolling, Jr. (Carla), niece, Tajai Bolling, nephews, Davon Richards, David Paul, Jr., an aunt, several uncles, and other relatives. May God Bless you Dre and rest in peace. You will be truly missed by all who knew you.
