William Edward Taylor , Jr.

William Edward Taylor, Jr was born on April 21, 1961, in Philadelphia, PA to Elva Marie Taylor and William Edward Taylor, Sr. He passed on September 13, 2023 at home in Newark, DE.

Known as Blue, Budder, Bill, and Dad (Pops), he received his early childhood education from Cassidy Elementary and Shoemaker Junior High. He graduated from Haddon Heights High School. After school he started his career in food service at TGI Fridays and later went on to work as a chef at many restaurants and casinos.

He was preceded in death by his father William Edward Taylor, Sr, mother Elva Marie Taylor, and brothers Michael Antony Taylor and Donald Eric Taylor.

He is survived by his wife Cassandra Taylor, sisters Karin Spence (Ainsley Spence), Laura Taylor, and Monique Bowman (Jermaine Bowman), daughters Aisha Lewis (Christon Lewis, Sr), Farrah Robinson, TiAndra Jones, son Syeeve Taylor (La-Scheie Taylor) and grandchildren Arinelle Lewis, Asia Lewis, Daquon McCargo, Christon Lewis, Jr, Sykeema Taylor, Emmanuel Turnbull, Tyke’ Wilson, Elijah Taylor, Jai’den Wilson, Samani Taylor, Mason Jones, 2 great grandchildren Alaia McCargo & Serenity Taylor and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.
