Tameka’s name means a child of beauty she had several nick names aka Meme, aka Meka mo, aka Meek Mek aka Meka. Tameka graduated from Jamaica High School. She attended Devry university.

After school she worked at a few places until she laid roots at Queens Hospital Center where she worked for 16 years.

Meka loved spending time listening to reggae music and time with her family either in person on phone, F/t talking watching movies .

Meka was preceded in death by her grandfather Harmon Jackson Sr, Willie H. Mills. Uncle Wayne Jackson
