Ruth Isamanda Campbell Robinson, 89, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away on November 15th in Wilmington, Delaware.
Ruth was born in Wilmington to Cora Chrisden and Ephraim Campbell on May 18,1931. She attended Howard High School in Wilmington before attending Central State University in Wilberforce, OH. She married David Robinson Jr. on April 2nd, 1955. She worked as a social worker for the division of family services in Wilmington for 10 years before becoming a special education teacher beginning at the old Opportunity School in Wilmington and continuing to teach in the Christina School district for over 22 years.
Ruth is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, David Robinson, Jr., son David E. Robinson, sister Bernice C. Horner and her granddaughter Charday Robinson.
Ruth is survived by her daughter Denise-Nanette (Jordan) Morinich, daughter in law Vernessa Robinson and grandson David E. (Amy) Robinson, Jr., 2 great-grand children, Landon and Aria, niece Rosalind Nieves, and nephew Sean Flakes.
