Joshua Smith, 33, of Pennsville passed unexpectedly on March 10 , 2024. Josh was born on June 24 ,
1990 in Salem, NJ to Patricia Wolfer and Michael Smith.
Josh received his early childhood education in both Salem and Penns Grove schools. He later attended
and graduated from Pennsville Memorial High School.
Josh enjoyed reading, especially interested in Stephen King novels, music, movies and television shows,
and video games. Above all else, he valued his family and friends, and would go to any lengths to protect
and support them. He will forever be remembered for his contagious energy and his remarkable ability
to bring a smile to every face and laughter to every room.
He is survived by his mother, Patty Wolfer; father, Mike Smith (Katrina Bunker); brothers, Aaron
Carfiello, Brandon Carfiello (Marissa Phillips); sister, Mikayla Smith; step-sisters, Samantha Sayers and
Robin Bishop; grandparents, Joanne Misenti (Santi Misenti), Richard Wolfer (Colette Wolfer); aunts,
Louise Palumbo (Roger Palumbo), Penny Smith, Mary Cable, Pamela Misenti; uncle, Rick Wolfer; and a
host of loved relatives and friends.
Josh was preceded in death by his step-father, Richard Sayers; grandparents, Frederick and Margaret
Smith; and uncles, Jeff Smith and Eric Smith.
