David Footman was born July 3, 1964, in Wilmington, Delaware to John and Georgia Footman who are both deceased. He passed on on May 19, 2023 at 2713 Speakman Place in Wilmington, de 19802.
David received his early childhood education at George Gray Elementary School, and he graduated from Howard High School. He worked as a landscaper with Kevin Gandy, known as "Spike" for many years. After that, he moved on to work as a self employed landscaper. He would be cutting grass all around the neighbors houses and beyond. He was very well known and liked by so many people all over Wilmington.
David's main hobby was playing basketball down at Prices Park, and he was an enforcing on the court more like a Moses Malone type of player. People enjoyed watching him play. His main hobbies later in life were a passion for landscaping and trimming people's grass and fixing his lawnmowers.
David is preceded in death by Bryant Footman, Bernard Footman, Georgia Footman, and John Footman.
David is survived by his brothers George, and Kevin Footman, and his nieces, Frances Stanley, Shanika Ross, Gwen Shaw, and Kierra Footman, great grand nieces and nephews, Antoinette, Cur'nya, Wyzeir, Zylier, Shyla, Hakeem, Juniior, Angelina, Joseph, Demca, Daria, Derrick, Cornelius, and many others, relatives, and friends.
